World number two Jannik Sinner powered past Learner Tien 6-1, 6-2 to book a semi-final showdown with fourth-ranked Alexander Zverev at Indian Wells on Thursday.Zverev reached the Indian Wells semi-finals for the first time with a similarly comfortable 6-2, 6-3 victory over France's Arthur Fils.
