Aug. 15—NEW LONDON — An experienced New London-Spicer girls tennis team got off to a fast start to the 2025 season. The Wildcats went 2-0 at a triangular Friday at NLS High School. They opened the triangular with a 6-1 win over Melrose. That was followed by a 4-3 victory against Sartell. Eight of NLS' 10 varsity players on Friday were seniors.
