Scottish Cup hero Mitov exits Aberdeen for St Pauli
Goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov has left Aberdeen to join German second-tier club St Pauli. The 29-year-old Bulgarian moves on for an undisclosed fee after 78 appearances for the Dons, including the club's 2025 Scottish Cup victory when he stopped two penalties in the Hampden shoot-out. "Dimi has made a significant contribution to Aberdeen and, during my time at the club, he has carried himself with the utmost professionalism and been a real leader both on and off the pitch," said manager Stephen Robinson.
