Former Sunderland midfielder Lee Clark believes Dan Neil may need to seek playing opportunities elsewhere for the sake of his career. The boyhood Sunderland fan helped his side win promotion last season but has made three cameo appearances in the Premier League so far this term and is out of contract in the summer. "It's a tough call but, for someone like Dan now, it's important in his career," Clark told BBC Radio Newcastle.
